Prepare to Graduate

BSCCommencementSSJS267.jpgIn order for a student to be awarded a degree, you must complete the steps below including submitting an Application for Degree electronically. 的 应用 for Graduation form in 校园连接 is not active! 
 
Students are encouraged to complete and submit an application immediately following enrollment in their final semester courses.

If the student is planning on continuing their studies at BSC and seeking another degree after graduation, they will also need to complete a Continuing Enrollment Form.
 
Students will be able to check their graduation status in CampusConnection using the steps below.  

Application for Degree Checklist
1. 回顾你的 Academic Requirements Report to make sure you have met your program requirements. 
  
2. 检查 College Degree Requirements to make sure you meet all the requirements to graduate.

3. 验证您的 Personal Information is correct in CampusConnection.

4. 带着你的 学术顾问 to have them review your records to make sure that you should apply for your degree.

5. 完成 Application for Degree. 
  • You must complete all items marked with an asterisk*.
  • 的 name on your diploma will be taken directly from what is entered on this form.
  • 的 address submitted should be where you would like the diploma to be sent.
  • 的 hometown and home state will be used in the commencement program.
  • Your area of study and degree can be found on your Academic Requirements Report.
  • If you have any additional credits (alternative learning or transfer credits) that have not been posted to your BSC transcript, 请电子邮件 二元同步通信.records@taegutectimes.com with the following information: 
    • Type of credit (CLEP, AP etc.) or Name of institution.
    • Course work taken.
    • When information should be received.
  • 完成 rest of the application, check the electronic signature box and submit.
6. 检查你的 校园电子邮件 for your Degree Application confirmation.
  • Once you have completed the form you will receive a confirmation at your 二元同步通信电子邮件 account indicating it has been submitted. 
  • You will also receive additional emails to verify address, degree and commencement throughout the semester.  请检查您的 二元同步通信电子邮件 定期.
7.  Upon submission, 学习成绩 will review your degree requirements. From pre-audit to final audit, you can track your 度状态 in CampusConnection as well as any communications sent to you via 建议指出.
 
8. Monitor your 度状态 and 建议指出 in CampusConnection. 9. Watch the mail for your diploma.
  • Once all grades have been posted at the end of the semester, a final evaluation will be conducted of your requirements.  
    • If requirements have been met, your graduation status is updated in CampusConnection to Degree Awarded, the degree is posted to your BSC transcripts and diplomas will be mailed within two weeks. 
    • If requirements have not been met, an email will be sent to your 二元同步通信电子邮件 account.
