Join us for a screening of the award-winning documentary, "26.2 to Life," followed by a live Q&A session with director Christine Yoo. The film portrays the journey of incarcerated men training for a marathon, offering a powerful narrative of redemption and transformation beyond the prison walls.
The documentary follows the 1000 Mile Club, a group of incarcerated men preparing for a unique marathon inside San Quentin Prison. For these individuals, crossing the finish line signifies more than athletic achievement; it's about breaking free from defining themselves solely by their past.
This event will take place on Sunday, April 21, at the Heritage Center starting at 2 p.m.
